The onboarding process introduces Fortect’s core features and ensures your Mac is fully protected. It starts immediately after permissions are granted and includes customization options to match your security needs.
Steps
- Welcome to Fortect Premium
- A brief intro highlighting your premium protection benefits.
- Click Let’s Get Started or Skip Onboarding to jump straight to the dashboard.
- Customize Your Protection
- Toggle Real-Time Malware Protection, Cloud Protection, and Scan Within Compressed Files.
- Keep all enabled for maximum security.
- Click Save & Continue.
- Discover Fortect Premium Features
- Learn about Full & Quick Scans, Custom Scans, Quarantine & Exclusions, and award-winning security.
- Click Go to Dashboard to finish onboarding.
Protection modules are being installed in the background during onboarding. If this process isn’t complete, you may see a brief Installing Protection status after onboarding ends.
Your Fortect is fully configured with your chosen protection settings, and you’re ready to run your first scan or simply let real-time protection work automatically.
