Fortect’s Top Security Certifications & Awards
Trust is Earned, Not Claimed.
In the cybersecurity world, claims are easy, but proof is hard. That is why Fortect submits its software to the most rigorous, independent testing labs in the world.
We are proud to announce that Fortect has achieved three major new milestones: AV-TEST Certification, AV-Comparatives ADVANCED+, and AppEsteem Deceptor Fighter status.
These join our existing Microsoft (MVI), VB100, and AMTSO credentials to confirm one simple fact: Fortect secures your digital life against the most sophisticated threats in the digital landscape.

AV-Comparatives ADVANCED+ Award
Few testing organizations are as respected as AV-Comparatives, whose Malware Protection Test puts antivirus engines through their paces against thousands of real-world threats. In the March 2026 evaluation, Fortect PC Suite 7.3 earned the lab’s highest distinction: the ADVANCED+ award.
- 99.95% Online Protection Rate: Placing us in the top performance cluster (Cluster 1) alongside industry giants like Bitdefender, Norton, and Microsoft.
- 98.6% Offline Detection: Even without a cloud connection, one of the highest offline detection rates in the entire test, ensuring you stay protected even when you’re not connected to the internet.
- Low False Alarms: This is the standard required to even qualify for the ADVANCED+ tier, proving our protection is precise, not just aggressive.
This award ranks Fortect ahead of well-known names including ESET, F-Secure, McAfee, Sophos, and Trend Micro in this round of testing, and reaffirms what our other certifications already show: Fortect is a top-tier security solution.
AV-TEST Certification
The independent AV-TEST Institute evaluates security software on realistic scenarios. In our most recent certification, December 2025, Fortect stood out where it matters most for the daily user: Usability and Real-World Detection.
- 100% Detection of Prevalent Malware: In the “widespread and prevalent malware” test, Fortect achieved a 100% detection rate for both November and December. This proves our engine effectively blocks the threats users are most likely to encounter in the wild.
- 6/6 Usability Score (Perfect): False alarms are frustrating. Fortect achieved a flawless 6.0/6.0 score in Usability, with zero false warnings on legitimate software. This is a critical win for our users—it means we stop the bad guys without ever interrupting the good guys.
Fighting Unethical Apps: AppEsteem Deceptor Fighter
Viruses aren’t the only threat online. Modern users are plagued by “Deceptors” – apps that trick you into paying, show aggressive ads, or fake system issues.
Fortect is now a certified AppEsteem Deceptor Fighter. This rare certification validates that our real-time protection blocks deceptive and unethical applications before they can harm your wallet or your peace of mind.
Precision Engineering: VB100 Grade A
Our commitment to precision is further backed by our VB100 Certification. To pass, a product must detect at least 75% of “In the Wild” malware with fewer than 0.05% false positives.
Fortect shattered these benchmarks with a 99.76% detection rate and a 0% false positive rate, earning the prestigious Detection Grade A. This confirms that our threat engine is arguably one of the most precise in the industry.
MVI & AMTSO: Trusted by Microsoft to Take the Lead
Security software needs to work with Windows, not against it.
- Microsoft Virus Initiative (MVI): This is one of our most critical distinctions. Being an active MVI member means Microsoft officially recognizes Fortect as a top-tier security provider. When you install Fortect, Windows trusts us enough to step aside. The Windows Security Center automatically recognizes Fortect as your primary defense, allowing us to take over the protection duties from Windows Defender. This “passing of the baton” confirms that Microsoft validates our technology as a capable, robust option for protecting you.
- AMTSO Member: As a member of the Anti-Malware Testing Standards Organization, we commit to transparency and fair testing protocols, ensuring that the results you see are results you can trust.
The Bottom Line
Whether it is a zero-day attack, a deceptive scam app or phishing attempt, we have the right technology to stop it. We are committed to providing a digital experience that is not only faster but fundamentally safer.
